Be careful walking into The Hatley Store: their original brand of cute is seriously hard to resist. The adorable 100% cotton designs found in the small, but welcoming boutique on Yonge (a little ways North of Eglinton) are primarily geared towards bedtime, but it’s hard not to miss the rain gear which you’ll also find yourself wishing came in your size. Oh, wait – it does! Careful, like I said, slippery slope. Clothing ranges from 3 months to seven years with tons of animal patterns your kids will love – and is even available in matching adult/child sleeper sets.
Pistachio is the eco-friendly consumer’s one-stop shop. The beautiful modern store welcomes you in with unique ideas for gifts, skincare, housewares, books, clothes, stationary – and for the eagle-eyed family shopper, this one’s a keeper: baby products they have.
Every parent needs some time for themselves – and what better way to rejuvenate than the spa! We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Vida Spas, a first-class spa catering to your pampering needs at the Sutton Place Hotel, The Sheridan Vancouver Wall Centre, The Westin Bayshore and The Fairmont Chateau Whistler.
Nannies on Call has been at the corner of Beatty and Robson for many years. We love the location. There are many great resturants within walking distance (Japa Dog anyone?) and I’m sure I don’t need to mention all the shopping all along Robson. It is a great place to work.
The atmosphere at Patachou is both chic and welcoming; un vrai petit cafe Francais! Which is welcome if you’ve been missing wonderful chocolate croissant from Montreal (like the ones at the patisserie from the train station? Right. I’m fussy.) It’s tricky to find quality French bakeries like Patachou in Toronto – they do exist, but you have to search diligently. And eat. You know, in the name of purity. I’d go on at length, but I think Erwin M, Matthew S., & Kat F. have said everything you need to know croissant-wise!
Toronto, June 28th, 2010 – Vancouver-based Nannies on Call has gone bi-coastal. The company announced the expansion today: on July 5th Nannies on Call will officially open their East Coast head office in downtown Toronto. “We’ve had so many requests from local families visiting the West Coast over the years,” says Kelsey, “I’ve always had Toronto in mind – and I finally have the perfect executive team in place.”
