Salary: $36,900.00 per year.
Term of employment: Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday 37.50 hours per week.
Location: 888 3 St SW, Calgary, AB T2P 5C5 and from home
General Office Clerk is asked to perform the following duties:
- Prepare correspondence, reports, statements, forms, applications and other documents relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations and classifications
- Respond to telephone and written enquiries from staff and the general public regarding personnel matters and forward to appropriate person
- Maintain and update manual and computerized filing and registration systems, and compile and prepare reports and documents relating to personnel activities
- Provide support for advertising or posting of job vacancies, assist in screening and rating of job applicants, and conduct reference checks
- Arrange for in-house and external training activities.
- Sort and file documents according to established filing systems, locate and retrieve documents from files as requested and maintain records.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail; maintain inventory of office supplies
- Education: completing of university
- Experience: Previous experience working in a nanny agency. Experience interviewing people, making judgment calls, good attention to detail, experience working in a solo environment. 1 year or less
- Language: Speak, read, and write English
