As many of you are already aware Nannies on Call is involved with The Nanny Angel Network. Many of our nannies are already volunteering and the feedback has been amazing.
The Nanny Angel Network is a group of professional women comprised of nannies and board members who generously volunteer their time to provide quality, compassionate relief childcare, at no cost, to mothers diagnosed with breast cancer, in treatment or in the early stages of recovery.
On Monday, April 26th at 7pm Nannies on Call will be hosting an orientation for nannies already involved and nannies who are interested in finding out more.
The Nanny Angel Network Volunteer Training is an informative and interactive, 3 hour session that ensures volunteers are knowledgeable about breast cancer, the effects on families and how best to work with them through this difficult time. Volunteers also become breast health awareness ambassadors able to share the techniques of conducting a routine breast self exam with others. By the end of the training session participants will have a complete understanding of the experience of being a Nanny Angel.
On hand to answer your questions will be Audrey Guth, Susan Zwaal and Michelle Kelsey.
